“Older Women Want Sex That’s Interesting And Exciting”

Having written 17 books on love and sex, you would think that there is nothing that could surprise Tracey Cox. And yet, when she hit 50, she was startled to find her sex drive decreasing.

“It’s hormones,” she says simply. But that doesn’t mean you have to resign yourself to a sexless life Instead, Tracey says, “You have to turn yourself on. Don’t expect desire to tap you on the shoulder like it used to, because it doesn’t happen.”

In researching her latest book, Great Sex Starts at 50, Tracey found that the biggest sex challenge older women face is not linked to hormones; it is boredom. “So many women are bored in their sex lives,” she says. Some give up on sex entirely; others get more adventurous than ever before.

In this video, Tracey shares what she has learned about sex after 50 – and why it’s better to have sex before dinner than after.
